Background
The father of these brothers is a taxi driver earning US$ 200.00 per month. His family comprise of ten children in all. Amongst them Brother Ali and Brother Badih are experienced mother mechanics. For the past 12 years Brother Ali was working in car repair and maintenance workshop. Last year the son of the owner joined the business. After gaining experience from Brother Ali, he has been made redundant. Being a large family, Brother Ali has no saving. Their neighbour has given these brothers two shops free for one year so that they can start as business of their own. Both brothers have very good reputation as honest and sincere in their work.
The brothers called on the Chair Lady of LFT for assistance. She in returned visited their house and their proposed workshop and was convinced that the applicants are deserving, honest, hardworking and knew their job. Based on Chair Lady’s recommendation the applicant was assisted with US$ 4,000.00 to buy necessary tools required for the workshop. They have agreed to repay US$ 100.00 against this loan on monthly basis
