LFT in Action

Our History: The Trust was formed in 1997, in response to appeals that were persistently received by the Trustees from around the world. Starting out from small, humble beginnings The Lady Fatemah Trust has grown to serve the needs of thousands of impoverished people worldwide.

Our Team: The Lady Fatemah Trust is a UK based charity, operating on the basis of zero% administration costs. Hence, all the team in the UK consists of dedicated volunteers. We work in partnership with experienced volunteers on the ground who substantiate each of the appeals that arise and are available to provide on-going support and guidance. Wherever possible, the Trustees and volunteers endeavour to work closely with other charities, so as to leverage the full benefit of the collective goodwill of donors and local expertise. We have found that joining hands with other organisations, in terms of resources and insights, often results in achievements beyond the scope of any one charitable institution.

The following pages of the website detail the appeals we have received, and the projects supported. As you can see the need is colossal, but together we can effect change and make a lasting difference.
