Distribution of Pasta in Support of Al-Mabarrat Orphan Organization, Lebanon

Manessa (LFT Lebanon) conducted a pasta distribution project to offer token support to al-Mabarrat Organization for Orphans.
Al Mabarrat Organization is a non-profit Islamic organization that runs orphanages, schools and social institutions all over Lebanon.
In the beginning, its target group was restricted to orphans and children who lived in an orphan-like situation. Al-Mabarrat centers for orphans are based on modern concepts. They do not only provide the children under their care with basic necessities until they grow up but go much further by providing them with academic or vocational training according to the individual orphan’s inclination with the aim of preparing him or her for integration into mainstream society. All staff members have received specialized training in the field of education and/or teaching.

Imam Sadr Foundation (ISF) is a Non-Governmental Organization operating mainly in South-Lebanon and Beirut. It aims towards a society free of "ignorance, sickness, ignorance and violence" through the implementation of multidisciplinary comprehensive programs for orphan girls and underprivileged populations: Good Governance, Education and Vocational Training, Women's Empowerment, Primary Healthcare and rural development. The Health Program consists of offering primary healthcare services and ambulatory care to all citizens in general and to the vulnerable communities in particular. This is where the Lady Fatemah Trust (LFT) Association supports us continuously, targeting the heart of our needs: The Essential Drugs' Program, which enables our physicians to prescribe an efficient treatment to their patients without the limitations of economic accessibility and therapy's continuity. Thus, the holistic loop of care will close safely: preventive treatment through health education and lifestyle well-being equilibrium in addition to evidence-based curative medicine.

“Despotism and claiming guardianship of the masses, accusing them of being ignorant and incapable of being in charge of themselves, are among the many forms of oppression that crush the energy of a people; as are the use of neglectful policies that reduce the people’s opportunities, thus denying them any chance of advancement and even depriving them of good health.” Imam Mussa Sadr (Founder of ISF); 1960
