Dear brother Karim I have read the obituary of Salima Padhani by yourself. I did not realise the kind of work Salima was involved in with the LFT. Reading about her personality and the work she was involved in has made me realise the loss we as a community and LFT have suffered in her passing away. i send you all at LFT my most heartfelt condolences and particularly to her husnband and her family members. Our Salima Masi (Aunty) was the most kindest, most devoted person in the world. She made the most incredible flapjacks. Salie Masi never got angry with us no matter how naughty we were. She always helped others before herself and was always ready to give everything in the way of Allah. She was an amazing role model and an angel. All we can say is that OUR loss is Heaven’s gain. Salie Masi, we promise that we will try and follow in your footsteps and teach Nylah to be just like you. We miss you so much, Salie Masie. Our love and duas will always be with you. From Aaminah, Zahra, Khaleel, Maisam and Mayram.

Even during her illness she was totally dedicated to the work of the Lady Fatemah (AS) Trust - nothing was too much trouble for her.She will be missed immensely not only by her parents, her husband, daughter and close relatives but by the wider community and the Lady Fatemah AS Trust in particular. It was always a pleasure to meet and speak to her.With all the good work she did not only for LFT but other community work, she will always be remembered.
