– Mission

Our Mission
is clear…

At the Lady Fatemah Trust, our mission is to empower mothers and entire communities in some of the world’s most disadvantaged regions.

We focus on improving physical and mental health, providing access to quality education, and creating sustainable livelihoods. By working with local organisations, we aim to transform life chances and create lasting, positive change for individuals and families. Through our efforts, we seek to address deep-rooted inequalities, ensuring that communities have the resources and opportunities needed to thrive and build a better future.

– Vision

A Vision of
Equality and
Empowerment

The Lady Fatemah Trust are passionate about improving the quality of care that Mothers and babies receive. We’ve worked with our ground partners to renovate maternity wards, introduce the Kangaroo Mothercare technique for low-weight babies, trained birth attendants, and introduced c-sections to hospitals that previously couldn’t offer them. All of these have saved so many precious lives.

– Values

Inclusive, inspired

Inclusive

1/3

At the Lady Fatemah Trust, we ensure that no one is left behind. We are dedicated to making a meaningful difference to people with disabilities, women, and girls. We place mothers at the centre of our work, and through deep community engagement, we ensure that all individuals, regardless of faith, background, or circumstances, are empowered to contribute to and benefit from our programmes.

Inspired by Faith

2/3

Our work is inspired by our faith in the inherent dignity of all human beings. We strive to create a fairer, more equitable world, driven by compassion and the desire to see every person live with hope and opportunity. Our faith guides us in pursuing justice and equality for all, and in working towards sustainable, long-term solutions to the challenges faced by vulnerable communities.

Innovative

3/3

We take an innovative approach to tackling complex issues. We fund and implement projects that create sustainable solutions, ensuring that our work has a lasting impact. Where emergency interventions are necessary, we also look for creative ways to help communities thrive in the long term, moving beyond short-term aid to provide the foundation for lasting change.
