Building Financial Capability for Young People in High-Need UK Schools
Too many young people grow up surrounded by financial pressure before they even understand money.
Some walk into school hungry. Some watch their parents struggle to pay bills. Others leave education only to step straight into debt, poor financial decisions, and cycles of hardship that continue for generations.
This project was created to help change that.
Focused on students aged 11–16 in high-need schools across the UK, the initiative delivers engaging and practical financial education around budgeting, saving, spending, and money management — helping young people build confidence and make informed decisions for their future.
Alongside student learning, teachers are also provided with training and resources so schools can continue delivering financial literacy education long-term.
By equipping young people with practical life skills early, the project aims to help break cycles of poverty, reduce long-term inequality, and create stronger futures for individuals, families, and communities.

Bridging the Digital Divide
The GiveIT initiative was launched to address digital exclusion among disadvantaged children in the UK by providing laptops to support access to education. The project focused on children aged 7–18, particularly those without access to suitable devices for remote learning. Through partnerships with schools, food banks, and community organisations, the initiative enabled continued education, improved digital literacy, and reduced long-term inequality.
