The Lady Fatemah Trust has on this occasion celebrated the occasion with the distribution of 2,000 family food parcels to the teacher communities at twelve schools in Al Hodeida district of Yemen.
Yemen remains in the grip of starvation with millions of vulnerable families struggling to make ends meet and have one square meal a day.
The school teachers have not been paid salaries for over 2 years and their assistance helps them resume their teaching activities at the schools so the children’s learning is resumed.
