LFT Dashte Barchi Afghanistan – Hadia’s story is one of incredible resilience and hope. Despite enduring severe hardship in her early childhood, caused largely by the trauma of an abusive father who abandoned the family, leaving behind a trail of emotional and financial struggles—Hadia has refused to let her circumstances define her future.
The absence of their father has compounded the family’s difficulties, with four children suffering both psychologically and financially.
Yet, thanks to the support of the Lady Fatemah Trust, Hadia now has access to quality education and is thriving, determined to serve her community.
Her mother, Husnia, despite carrying the heavy weight of her children’s suffering alone, is deeply grateful for the opportunity given to Hadia. Her brother Shukran has had to, at such an early age, rise up to the challenge of being the main breadwinner working as a barber.
Hadia’s journey is a testament to the power of compassion and the impact of educational support. With each lesson she learns, she is breaking the cycle of adversity that was perpetuated by her father’s abandonment and building a future filled with promise.
Her story reminds us that even in the darkest times, hope can shine through—and with the right support, dreams can turn into reality.
Many more children orphaned or left to be raised by a mother alone are being served by the Lady Fatemah Trust and with your support we can grow the services we provide to many more InshaAllah.
