#Educate2Empower #Back2School – we don’t just provide books and bags, that’s a vehicle to support not an empowerment tool.
Instead we make sure that children in war torn countries especially our daughters and sisters manage to get to school wearing a new school uniform sewn by a mothernomics mother in Karbala or Kabul and books and pens in a bag get support for their studies and mental health well-being sessions and set up to succeed.
Any less would be letting the students down and that they done need our help with, they already feel let down by humanity having lost their childhood, fathers, homes and emotional and physical wellbeing.
Charity must sustainably empower – perpetually handing out hoping for a better tomorrow hasn’t changed any lives permanently and creates and deepens dependency.
