Twelve-year-old Nawroz, is a shining example of resilience and hope.
Despite facing immense challenges, he stands out as one of the top students in his fifth-grade class, supported by LFT’s educational program since 2022.
Nawroz and his family live in a modest, one-room rented home, struggling to make ends meet with their mother as the sole provider.
She works tirelessly as a cleaner, despite health issues, to support her four children.
Nawroz lost his father at the age of five due to addiction, a painful absence that deeply affected his world.
His older brother, just 14, had to sacrifice his education to help the family survive, while his two sisters, Nargis and Freshta, are unable to attend school due to restrictions.
Yet, amid these hardships, Nawroz remains determined. He calls his mother a hero and believes that education is the only path to lift his family from poverty. “If it weren’t for this support,” he says, “I wouldn’t be in school today like my brother who had to drop out. But now, I have a chance—a real chance to change our future.”
Nawroz’s story is a powerful reminder of the impact of educational support. His voice echoes the hopes of many vulnerable children: a call for continued support, and a belief that even in the darkest times, education can be a light toward a brighter future.
