Over 40,000 individuals focussed on widowed mothers and their children and the elderly from the Hazara community have been served by the generous food baskets that you our donor community have enabled.
During this month we want to make sure that just as we break our fasts in ease we try and enable that for the recipients too some of whom are going through extreme hardship.
The food baskets have nutritionally balanced ingredients and the beneficiaries are informed on how to prepare meals that are healthy as a precursor to their activities the rest of the year.
The distribution to the community took place at a school where the orphaned children study and their mothers who work at MOM also received a food parcel at their place of work and were highly encouraged and grateful for this care during the Holy Month, motivated to carry on transforming their lives all year round.
