LFT Kabul – First 10 days of ZilHijjah – initiating, increasing and strengthening transformation.
Whilst we go through the days leading up to Eid Al Adha and the celebrations of the sacrifice of Ibrahim as we have another opportunity to initiate change in our own behaviour mindset and outlook. We can use these days to guide the change we seek in our lives in the months and years ahead.
Change the way you look at challenges issues and problems to bring sustainable mindset shifts in your own lives and those of the communities or rightsholders you seek to connect to and assist.
Like the widowed mothers in Kabul who for many months and years have embraced change to become independent by seeing garments, this month focussing on for orphaned children’s school uniforms and Eid prayers.
As a result over 1,000 children including the boys and girls shown above will go to school wearing their new uniforms and go to Eid prayers wearing new clothes.
For whilst the decision to change is made over days sustainable growth takes weeks months and years to embed grow and transform lives forever.
