“Hikmat’s enrollment is a key support for his future. Without it, we had no way to afford school. Thank you for giving him a chance to dream.”
Hikmat is a bright 9-year-old boy in Grade 3 at Awrang Private School in Dashti-e Barchi, Kabul.
Always at the top of his class, Hikmat’s exceptional academic performance is matched only by his determination to succeed. But behind his achievements lies a story of resilience and hope.
After losing their livelihood to drought, Hikmat’s family was forced to leave their village in Ghazni and start over in Kabul.
Life became even more difficult when his father passed away suddenly, leaving his mother to care for six children alone.
With no job opportunities, the family struggled to cover even the most basic expenses. Hikmat’s older brother, just 16, now works part-time at a tailoring shop to help make ends meet.
Thanks to LFT’s education program, Hikmat was given a golden opportunity—access to quality education with full support: school fees, stationery, and food. Without this, his mother says, school would have been out of reach.
Now, Hikmat studies with hope and purpose, dreaming of a brighter future.
Thank you donors and supporters for standing by Hikmat’s side!
