LFT’s education support – Yasamin’s story

At only 11 years old, Yasamin carries a quiet strength shaped by loss and hardship in Kabul.

After tragically losing her father in a bus explosion, Yasmin now lives with her widowed mother and seven siblings in a modest home without even a kitchen.

Her mother and sisters work tirelessly on embroidery and carpet weaving to sustain the family, yet education remained out of reach, until the LFT stepped in.

Thanks to LFT’s education program, Yasamin now studies at a private school with joy and dignity. Each year, she receives the supplies she needs and attends classes free of charge.

This year, she discovered her love for computers, a subject she’s learning for the first time, and it has ignited a spark of hope and ambition within her.

For children like Yasamin, education is no longer a distant dream, but a living opportunity.

Her story is a powerful reminder that with the right support, even the most vulnerable can rise and thrive.

Thank you supporters and donors for making this possible for Yasamin and thousands of children like her in Afghanistan India Iraq Pakistan Tanzania and Yemen!
