Through the punishing winters in Kabul, more than 2,000 orphaned children aged between 4 to 16 years have received warm winter jackets sewn by the mothers of the mothernomics program giving both the mothers an income and the children love, protection and safety in months where the adverse weather keeps children homebound for months on end.

The jackets were distributed in the following districts of Dashte Barchi in Kabul:

– Shahrak e Mahdia
– Shahrak e Zeba
– Qala e Qazi
– Shahrak Dawazda
– Dokhtaran
– Jabar Khan Village

These families feel the warmth of your care love and support all year round through education and healthcare for the children and income for the mothers.

Please do keep your support flowing all year round but especially over the next five weeks as families in need rely on your support especially in these days and nights as we work across the days of the rest of the year to chance them from dependency to independence.
