Lady Fatemah Trust- Kabul, Afghanistan – this Eid please give a gift that just keeps giving
For many children worldwide, the start of a new school year brings excitement and joy. But in Kabul, this time often brings stress and worry for families struggling to afford school supplies, uniforms, and other essentials. The Lady Fatemah Trust MOM program in Kabul is stitching 1,000 school uniform sets to be distributed across the Dashte Barchi suburb, home to millions of Hazara families.
Hundreds of mothers and children will also receive traditional eid garments and nearly 10,000 individuals in Afghanistan are set to benefit from your Qurbani gift for a sumptuous meal.
These garments are more than just clothing; they are symbols of dignity and opportunity for the mothers who sew them.
For the families who receive them, they lift a heavy weight and offer the simple joy of seeing their children step into school feeling prepared and proud and families can truly celebrate Eid with new garments and a sumptuous meal.
Together, we’re not just making uniforms, we’re weaving hope into every stitch.
Thank you LFT donors and supporters, for making this year another special one for the children in Kabul!
