Through summer and winter, the major visitations of Muharram and Safar, Shabaan and Ramadhan as well as Zilhajj the capacity to supply of nearly 1.5 billion litres per annum or 6 billion cups of water has increased capacity at the shrine and surrounding area to levels neither witnessed before and iA calculated to be future proofed for a long time.
With zero need for single use plastics and a very low maintenance costs pilgrims can enjoy their Arbaeen visit knowing access to clean water need not harm the land of Karbala and not polluting it for the local residents or generations of future zuwwar.
