For the first time ever, as millions of pilgrims continue to arrive in Karbala in the scorching heat the water station of shrine of Imam Hussain is ready to provide over 4,000,000 litres of drinking water to them each day.
The timely arrival of the additional equipment facilitated by the partnership between the Lady Fatemah Trust and the Jaffer Family Foundation was installed with the assistance of trained engineers from the Attabah and overseen by our suppliers.
Not only is this a fully automated solution but it mitigates the dangers of the leakage of dangerous chemicals that led to the hospitalisation of hundreds of people at a completely different site.
