Renewed Displacement in Gaza and Lebanon This Ramadhan

This Ramadhan, the pressure has intensified again, and families in Lebanon and Gaza are facing renewed fear, displacement, and severe shortages.

In southern Lebanon, new evacuation orders and escalating hostilities have forced families to move quickly, with tens of thousands displaced in a matter of days.

In Gaza, the UN and humanitarian agencies are warning that the recent escalation is deepening an already catastrophic situation, disrupting humanitarian operations and tightening access to essentials as crossings are again affected.

When a family is displaced, the need becomes immediate: warmth, water, food, and basic safety. And in Ramadhan, that urgency hits even harder, because a home is not just walls; it is where a family breaks their fast in dignity.

Gaza: our kitchens are running, and water is still a daily emergency

In Gaza, many displaced families have no safe cooking access. Our kitchens continue to prepare and distribute warm meals so families can break their fast with dignity.

This Ramadhan, we are scaling a new round of distributions to reach:

  • Over 200 displaced families (around 1,257 people)
  • 8,800 hot meals across planned distribution days

And alongside food, water remains life-or-death. Your support helps us keep clean water moving to families who need it for drinking, cooking, and basic hygiene, especially when access tightens and conditions shift overnight.

Lebanon: food packs delivered – thousands of families relieved this Ramadhan

In recent days, renewed escalations and attacks across Lebanon have added further pressure on families already living through crisis.

But because of your generosity, 2,065 Ramadhan food parcels have already been delivered, supporting over 10,000 people.

Each parcel provides a month of daily meals, that is around 309,750 meals placed on family tables, bringing dignity back to iftar for households who have endured too much.

And with the situation tightening again, we are preparing further packs now so the next wave of displaced families isn’t left behind.

Ramadhan is mercy, let your mercy reach a family tonight

A family should not break their fast with nothing.

A child should not sleep hungry because the world moved on.

If you can only do one thing this Ramadhan, make it this: feed at least one family.

And if you can, feed more, because the need is rising.

In moments like this, we can’t watch from a distance. We must act.

If each of us commits to feeding at least one family (if not more) we can carry real relief into homes that are breaking under the weight of hardship.
