One of those extraordinary mothers is Sahar. Read Sahar’s story of resilience and determination to being an independent mother for her kids and family here Through the Mothernomics program, we offer the mothers emotional counselling to gain the confidence to rebuild their lives. They then chose a skills-based program to rebuild their lives and when they graduate receive the equipment with which to pursue their chosen enterprise. We need your help to make the campaign a success and transform dependency and desperation into independence and liberation for over 2 million families in Iraq that are headed by widowed mothers. By making a donation to the Big Give Christmas Challenge, your donation will be doubled with funds from our matching pot from the Coles Medlock Foundation and other private donors. The campaign runs until midday on Tuesday 7th December 2021.
