As millions of zuwwar visit the burial site of Ameer Al Mumineen on the anniversary of the demise of Rasulallah, many having walked the distance from Karbala after the Arbaeen of Imam Hussain’s martyrdom the temperatures soar above 40’C.
However thanks to your enduring generosity, the Lady Fatemah Trust named after the daughter of Rasulallah, the wife of Imam Ali as and the mother of Imam Hassan and Hussain, as will serve up to 60,000 litres of drinking water per hour to the zuwwar making a cumulative total of over 2,000,000 litres or 10,000,000 cupfuls over the period.
The work to quench the thirst of the zuwwar carries on, with sustainable and scaleable projects showing strong social impact and life saving and life enhancing activities for communities worldwide.
